How can I contact you with other questions?

I always do my best to respond within 24 hours, Monday - Friday. 

If you email me and do not receive a response within 3 business days, it may have been missed, please reach out again! I want to answer ALL of your questions in a timely manner.

I will respond to messages on Instagram at this time. 

Do you offer discounts?

I offer occasional discounts and sales.

I also have an ongoing shipping promotion for our US customers!

Can I order a colorway dyed to order?

Absolutely!

Tonals are dyed to order if you purchase more than one skein at a time as I don't usually keep several in stock at any given time. 

ALL SALES ARE FINAL on any dyed to order skeins.


When will you have ____ colorway in stock again?

Please email me for specific colorway requests.

If you do not see the colorway on the shop at all, it is probably retired or seasonal and will be back during a specific time of year. If you're still curious, email me!

 

Do you dye custom colorways?

I do not dye custom colorways, but I am always open to ideas, suggestions, and inspiration.

 

Can you wind my yarn into a ball or "cake?"

I do not offer a ball winding service.

How do I care for hand dyed yarn?

For best results soak in a basin of cold water for no longer than 5 minutes, with 1 teaspoon unscented wool wash. Lay flat to dry. Minimal bleeding can occur on the first few washes (especially with pinks and reds). Using a color catcher is a great way prevent any excess dye from getting on other colors in your project.

How we wash the yarn before it is shipped to you:

We use unscented Eucalan on all yarn. We rinse all the yarn in water to make sure the water is running clear, and then soak it in Eucalan for 5 minutes. Even with this process, minimal bleeding can occur on the first few washes (especially with pinks and reds).

Scented Detergent:

The reason I recommend unscented, is some soap companies use alcohol-based scents instead of natural scents or essential oils. The alcohol bases can cause bleeding or fading of the dye. The scented wool washes I recommend are Eucalan and Soak, please follow the guidelines and care instructions.


Do you collaborate with knit or crochet designers?

Can I use your yarn or for my business?

Any yarn purchased, if knitted, crocheted, woven, etc. can definitely be used for your small business! I love seeing makers everywhere use my yarn for their projects or selling the finished items!  

Mountain Sage Fiber Co Yarn is not intended to be purchased for resale unless there has been a specific agreement made between Elizabeth of Mountain Sage Fiber Co and the business reselling the yarn.

Any photos of Mountain Sage Fiber Co yarn in its original form (in a skein or untwisted) and not knitted, crocheted, woven, etc. can not be used for business purposes unless a specific agreement is made between Elizabeth of Mountain Sage Fiber Co and that business.

The yarn in its original form is artwork and belongs to Elizabeth of Mountain Sage Fiber Co and should not be used for business or commercial purposes, including but not limited to photographs of that yarn.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.

How long will it take to get my order?

It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

Returns

Can I return my product?

We always aim for make sure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help. Just email us directly and we’ll take you through the process.

Can I get my product personalized?
